The School of Graduate Studies Advisory Council Meeting
The Advisory Council of the College of Graduate Studies held its first meeting for the academic year 2025 / 2026 on Thursday, December 4, 2025, chaired by Prof. Dr. Laith Nasrawin, Dean of the School .

The session addressed the importance of partnership with economic, industrial, and commercial sectors to guide students' research and theses towards meeting the requirements of these sectors. The attendees unanimously agreed on the necessity of integrating experience and practice into the educational process to link theory with application within the curricula. The Council also recommended the need to enhance scientific research skills within academic courses and provide specialized workshops for students.
During the meeting, the Dean of the College presented an overview of the university's plans and future aspirations, reviewing the programs offered by the college and the number of students scheduled for admission in the coming semester. He also noted the college and university's direction toward quantitative and qualitative expansion of these programs. The Dean concluded by referencing the college's initiative to improve the aesthetic appearance of the facilities through a plan to decorate and landscape the entrance and environmental facilities of the college.
